Description
Like her father, Maud Guizol is a graduate of ESTP, which means she has been immersed in the construction and public works sector (BTP) from an early age. After 10 years working in structural engineering in the Indian Ocean region, she became fascinated by BIM and its endless digital possibilities. Within Colas, she created BIMbyCO, based on multi-disciplinary BIM, and deployed its processes across the company’s various subsidiaries.
Today, as Director of BIM and Digital Construction for the Colas Group, she is responsible for BIM strategy and deployment, leading a community of 35 BIM coordinators and 1,200 BIM practitioners. She also works on operational efficiency tools based on new technologies such as Generative Design. Convinced of the value of data and its impact in the field, she has been contributing for the past five years to the development of the “2IN” solution, a Territorial Digital Twin designed to improve the resilience of our territories and awarded the Public Prize at the 2023 Digital Twin Awards.
In addition, Maud Guizol is President of buildingSMART France, President of the BIM and AI Committee of the FNTP, a board member of MINnD2050, co-leader of the Territorial Digital Twin Working Group (GT JNT), and a member of the Board of Directors of ESTP.
